"UDL Editions take advantage of the flexibility of digital media to reach and engage all learners."
This amazing web site offers readers a chance to interact with the text, brining it to life.
Listen to what some of the best critics (8th grade students) say about this tool.

"The UDL program really helped me with learning the characterization of Shakespeare. The UDL program helps kids make predictions on what is going to happen next because it gives them a choice of answers so that they’re not completely lost. It also gives a glossary so that kids know what words are appropriate and should be used."

“The UDL site allowed me to see what Shakespeare meant when he described the character. It gave me adjectives that could replace that current ones so I could better understand what the character was like. The poem said the character was lovely and temperate. I changed that to gentle and enduring. The glossary helped me learn that lease is the amount of time allowed for something by just clicking on it. If I was just reading the sonnet in a book I would have had to get a dictionary and look it up.”
